Our Council budgets a donation for East End Hospice annually. As Catholics, we respect all life including everyones right to compassionate and dignified end of life care. This is the only not for profit Hospice facility on Eastern Long Island. EEH depends on donations from charitable organizations to continue to provide this valuable service. The KofC Queen of All Hearts Council is proud to support their mission.

ABOUT EAST END HOSPICE

East End Hospice brings hope to the dying and their families and friends. By affirming life, hospice helps people conclude life with comfort and dignity, offering pain alleviation and symptom control in a familiar and caring environment. Certified in 1991, East End Hospice, a 501(c)(3) not- for-profit corporation, has provided services to over 17,000 terminally ill patients and their families – primarily in patients’ homes under the direction of professionals—and with invaluable assistance from dedicated volunteers.

Our coordinated teams of seasoned health care professionals and volunteers are committed to meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patients and families who come to us for care. Supporting families through grief and bereavement is an essential component of East End Hospice, including a comprehensive children’s bereavement program and Camp Good Grief—our highly acclaimed day camp for children aged 4-17 (Camp Good Grief began in 1997.)

East End Hospice also seeks to promote awareness of the benefits of hospice care in our communities through educational and informational presentations to civic, fraternal and religious groups, professional organizations and educational institutions on Eastern Long Island.

No one is ever denied care by East End Hospice because of inability to pay.

Food Drive

The Knights of Columbus Council 4126 extends our deepest gratitude to King Kullen Management and all the generous shoppers who contributed to our food drive. Your incredible generosity allowed us to collect over 2000 pounds of food items and gift cards, helping us restock the Church food pantry (Ernie's Place at Saint John the Evangelist Church). Your support has made a significant impact on our community, and we are truly thankful.
